Hard to get worked up at DHH and the Shopify guy and the Tailwind guy being outed to larger audiences as assholes and cool with racism and facism because they have always been that way and tech bro culture rewarded them for it with heaps of cash and influence.
The best way to deal with it is to not use Rails, Shopify, or Tailwind in your own projects. If asked, just be honest and say you dislike their politics and prefer to not make them any more money or give them any more influence.
